I've worked in many environments: as the only designer in a small company, as a freelance and agency designer, and as part of a powerful team in one of the largest organizations in the world. Regardless of the assignment, I bring passion and professionalism.

My Story

I have always liked to create. But when I was first exposed to the digital world, something just clicked for me. Like a lot of kids, I had a passion for computer games, but there was more to it than that. The more I was exposed to the creativity that was possible on computers, the more I knew that I didn't want to just be a consumer, I wanted to be a creator. I indulged my passion by becoming a journalist and a yearbook geek, using my visual skills to create memories. Although I pursued journalism, I found myself more obsessed with the visual design of the pages than the stories within. I knew then that my future was in graphic design.

Great tools fueled my journey. My first love affair with Illustrator grew into a long-term relationship with PhotoShop and a passionate partnership with InDesign. Great passion drives my vision; great tools make my dreams realities. 

Inspiration

It is hard not to be inspired. My life has been full of inspirations, from the places I've been, the people I've known, to the dreams I've fed and nurtured over the years.

My memories of my grandparent's farm with the waves of wheat blowing in the wind. My travels around the world, seeing how other live, appreciating how different we all are-- and how similar.

The textures in the clothing people wear. How light and shadow play with one another on objects. My passion for playing music from classical to jazz. The remarkable people I've met, each with thousands of stories of their own.

As a visual designer, my eye is like the lens of a camera. The story you tell depends on where you focus, from the smallest detail of a blade of grass to a glorious mountain range stretching on for miles in a panorama.
